PUBLIC LEGAL INFORMATION
Terms and Conditions
The rules for accessing and using Visual Arts Education, its courses, member services and purchasing features.
Website text reviewed: 26 September 2026 · Under continuing review1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Visual Arts Education, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the website. A parent, guardian, school or educator responsible for a learner should review these terms where appropriate.
2. Educational purpose
The website provides visual-arts education, course materials, workshops, assignments, member tools and related creative resources. Content is provided for learning and general information and is not a promise of academic, professional, financial or commercial results.
3. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials and use only the account or access code assigned to you. Course, member and private areas may have separate eligibility, payment or administrator-approval requirements. Access may be limited, suspended or removed where necessary to protect learners, rights holders, the website or other users.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt services, introduce harmful code, impersonate another person, harass others, or upload unlawful, unsafe or infringing material. Do not bypass course-access, download, privacy or media controls.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, lessons, artwork, text, branding, images, video and downloadable materials are owned by or licensed to Visual Arts Education. Course access gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence for the stated educational purpose. It does not transfer copyright or permit resale, republication or commercial exploitation.
6. Your submissions
You retain ownership of original work you submit. You grant Visual Arts Education the limited permission needed to store, display, review and administer that work for the course or service you selected. You confirm that you have the right to upload it and that it does not violate another person’s rights.
7. Purchases, Website Tokens and private Ackee items
Prices, access duration and fulfilment terms shown at checkout form part of the purchase. Website Tokens are closed-loop website credits only: they are not money, cryptocurrency, legal tender, an investment, or guaranteed to have value outside this website. They are not automatically convertible into cash, private Ackee items or third-party payment value. Private Ackee purchases use administrator-approved third-party payment options and may require receipt verification. Third-party payment providers apply their own terms. Refunds and cancellations are handled according to the specific offer, provider rules and applicable law.
8. Availability and changes
Features, schedules, course materials and prices may change. We may correct errors or pause a feature for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with an updated date.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Visual Arts Education is not responsible for losses caused by misuse, unauthorized access, third-party services or matters outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live. Questions can be sent through the website’s administrator or contact channel.
11. Offline access, optimization and device storage
The website may optimize eligible uploads, prevent duplicate storage, stream large files in parts, and cache pages or resources already opened on a device. Offline availability depends on the device, browser storage allowance and whether the resource was opened successfully while online. Clearing browser data, changing device or disabling the performance system can remove offline copies.
12. Automated development and audit controls
Administrator tools may organize website questions, prepare code proposals, run health checks and retain audit or backup records. These controls do not authorize unreviewed production changes. A coding provider, repository and build runner must be securely connected before real source work can occur, and public deployment remains subject to administrator approval and platform controls.
13. Uploaded-item token values and limited capacity
An administrator may assign a separate Website Token value, issue capacity, currency reference and later trading stage to an uploaded item. Issue value and website buy-back value are separate. A displayed calculation, purchase count or later administrator-set price is not a promise of profit, market liquidity, cash redemption or increasing investment value. A sold-out issuance may remain closed until the administrator records a new permitted value and rate.
14. Public documents, comments and marketplace listings
A public label means that a visitor may view the published item according to its displayed permissions. It does not transfer ownership or guarantee that screenshots, copying or redistribution can be technically prevented. Comments, artwork listings and marketplace submissions may be moderated, hidden or restricted to protect learners, rights holders and the service.
15. Records, deletion and security
Administrative, transaction, access and audit records may be retained to protect accounts, investigate misuse, meet legal duties and support the website review process. Removal requests may require identity and administrator confirmation, and some records may be retained where reasonably required. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly and keep member, recovery and administrator credentials private.
16. Upload tokens, certificates and changing values
A Public Document upload token, barcode, QR code or certificate is a website product and verification record connected to an administrator-uploaded item. It is not legal tender, a bank deposit, cryptocurrency, security or promise of profit. Token capacity, issue rate, sale price, currency, buy-back rate, availability and later trading value are separately controlled by the administrator and may change. A payment request remains pending until the administrator verifies, processes or cancels it. JAM-DEX and other external payments must be completed through an authorized provider.
17. Private digital courses and learning materials
A private course, video, test or handout is a licensed digital product for the authorized member’s personal learning use. Access may depend on a completed administrator-verified private-token transaction and may not be shared, copied, resold or redistributed unless written permission is provided. Course promotion shown publicly does not make the protected curriculum public or guarantee enrollment, advertising results, income, platform approval or continued availability of third-party features.
18. Legacy learning resources and platform changes
Some private course source files were created in earlier years and may mention services, links, features, marketing methods or claims that are no longer current. They are supplied as learning evidence for analysis and revision, not as instructions to copy without review. Members must respect copyright, community rules, consent, privacy and current platform terms, and must verify services and links before use.
19. Internal development assistance
Administrator-only development tools may organize website questions, prepare implementation drafts and record work assigned to approved coders. Automated output is a proposal and may contain errors. Source changes, credentials, database operations and public releases require authorized access, testing, a recoverable checkpoint and administrator approval.
20. External-provider links and manual controls
Where an administrator form requires an external service, the website may provide a link to that provider’s official sign-in or account page together with manual ON/OFF and connection-stage controls. Opening the link leaves this website and requires the administrator to authenticate directly with the provider under its terms. Turning a website control on, or selecting a connection stage, does not create an account, grant provider access, install credentials or prove that the service is connected. Passwords, API keys, access tokens and other secret values must never be entered into an ordinary website form or stored in the normal website database.
21. Starter membership, upgrade applications and administrative capacity
A Starter membership provides continuing sign-in, profile and plan-management access but does not guarantee an upgrade, subscription, course, storage or full-dashboard benefit. Every upgrade or subscription request is subject to administrator control and may be approved, declined, kept pending or deferred. If immediate access could create a storage-capacity shortage, unsafe file handling, reduced performance, security exposure, inadequate backup coverage or an unmanageable administrative burden, the website may explain the identified challenge and risk and ask the applicant to remain on the Starter plan until the administrator confirms that the necessary storage and management systems are available. Existing Starter access and retained account records remain unchanged while a request is pending or deferred. A non-grandfathered Starter account that has no recorded activity for at least 90 days may be soft-removed only after an inactivity notice is sent or otherwise communicated through one or more available messaging channels and the administrator records that notice. Soft removal disables sign-in but preserves recoverable administrative records.
22. Course and digital-product payments
Course and digital-product sales are paid through a selected independent third-party payment provider. This website may record a request and verify a provider receipt before granting access; do not enter card, bank or wallet credentials into an ordinary website form. Website Token displays and account records do not themselves process external payments.
